PRINCIPAL SOLICITOR

Dr Angela Pierce is both Principal Solicitor at Angela Pierce and Associates and a dentist.

She has a PhD in Dentistry from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, a Master of Laws from ANU, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Her legal practice focuses on health and medical law, personal injury and medical malpractice, university appeals and misconduct, and business and employment law with a focus on drafting and advising on work contracts in the health sector. She also an interest in wills and estates law.

Angela has undertaken civil litigation in a variety of matters in the higher courts, including commercial disputes, university appeals, and complex trust and estate matters.

As a dentist, she has served as state president of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), and as a member of both branch and national boards of the ADA for several years.

In 2021, Angela was awarded ADASA Branch Life Membership and a Distinguished Service Award by the national ADA for her services to the dental profession.

Angela is currently a Deputy Director of the Commonwealth Department of Health Professional Services Review examining the provision of Medicare services by health practitioners. She has also served as a professional member of the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Angela's clients are based Australia-wide. In 2022, she moved her law practice from Adelaide to Sydney.

She is a member of both the Law Society of NSW and the Law Society of South Australia.
